About us

Molly's Meals is a home-based micro bakery on the Isle of Skye. Our baking base and wee honesty box (The Skye Trail Snack Stop) is based in the most wonderful village on the island (IN OUR OPINION!), Elgol.

We bake by hand, so every cake, loaf and pastry that leaves our kitchen is kneaded, or mixed with love by our tiny team of 3. When I first started, 5 cakes / traybakes and a couple of loaves of bread a week was busy! Now, we supply upwards of 30 standard cakes, 3 custom cakes 40 loaves of bread and 100 savouries PER WEEK to residents, visitors and businesses around Skye. Most weekends you can find us at local markets, or we are catering for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions on and around the island. Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates!

I started Molly's Meals after 6 years of cooking in professional/fine dining kitchens, because I realised that there's more to life than high stress restaurants that are too expensive and only benefit those at the top. I love cooking and baking. Especially hearty, traditional comfort foods and BBQ. So, I decided to return to my roots, take family recipes and adapt them in to affordable, delicious recipes for you all to try. Great, locally sourced ingredients, no fuss.
